Tempe yeast is the seed used to make tempeh. Therefore, it is often referred to as a tempe starter. Tempe yeast contains the fungus Rhizopus sp. also known as tempeh mushroom.
Tempe or Tempeh is a typical Indonesian food made from fermented soybeans or several other ingredients using several types of Rhizopus molds, such as Rhizopus oligosporus, Rh. oryzae, Rh. stolonifer (bread mold), or Rh. arrhizus. This fermented preparation is commonly known as "tempe yeast".

How to use :
2 gram Raprima Tempeh yeast for 1Kg Soybean
1 tea spoon Raprima Tempeh yeast for 2.5Kg Soybean
1 table spoon Raprima Tempeh yeast for 10Kg Soybean
Please note : Making tempeh requires a certain room temperature and humidity so that the starter (yeast) can develop well.
